Field Services

We have inspectors serving all of Alameda County. The typical "request for service" (RFS) if from the public with a vector related problem at their home, such as house mice or a skunk that moved under their home. The RFS can be made at our website, or can be called in at our main phone number.

The typical process will be that the receptionist will ask what the vector problem is, and then they will need your name, address and phone number. The RFS will be assigned to the inspector for your area and the inspector will call you to arrange for a mutually agreeable time to meet with you at your home.

The inspection will be to determine cause of the vector related problem, such as an opening on the side of your home that initially allowed a critter to enter; give suggestions on how to effectively "pest proof" and then suggestions on control strategies intended to end the problem as soon as possible, using the least toxic, environmentally friendly methodology.

Occasionally, the problem will encompass the neighborhood, and not be site specific to your home and the inspector may contact neighbors to assist in a neighborhood cooperative campaign to reduce or eliminate the causative vector.
